Discover Your Drivers

Book workshop

The key to self-awareness lies in knowing what triggers you. What you tend to do in those moments. And the potential effect it has on you and your environment. Research reveals that when we lose control, we often fall back on a fixed behavioural pattern. Whether it's an unpleasant situation or a challenge, our reaction almost always follows the same pattern. In this workshop, we will delve deeper into the five different drivers: Hurry Up, Be Strong, Please Others, Try Hard, and Be Perfect.

  • Hurry Up
Energetic and efficient. This driver prioritises speed over accuracy. Risk of errors due to impatience is lurking. Stress stems from too much work, impossible deadlines, and a slow work environment.
  • Be Strong
Characterised by honesty and result-orientation, they show no weaknesses and do not ask for help. They experience stress with unclear goals and lack of responsibility or action.
  • Please Others
Focusing on empathy and harmony, they want to please others, sometimes at their own expense. Setting boundaries and saying no is difficult; criticism is taken personally.
  • Try Hard
This driver seeks recognition and challenge, often choosing the difficult path. Stress arises from lack of recognition, rigidity, and lack of challenge.
  • Be Perfect
This driver strives for precision and reliability, where perfectionism goes hand in hand with self-worth. They deliver quality work, have an eye for detail, and prefer clear rules. Stress arises from time pressure and ambiguity.

By consciously learning to navigate your drivers, you'll notice that you can increasingly fall back on your strengths and more effectively avoid your pitfalls.

A win-win situation, because those who can manage their drivers derive an enormous amount of energy from it and can minimise energy loss. Managing your drivers not only offers personal growth but also forms an effective strategy to manage your energy.

Expect a vibrant workshop that not only provides insight into your behavioural patterns but also offers the tools to embrace and effectively manage them. Discover the power of diversity and how insight into yourself and others can turn cycling on a tandem into a successful and inspiring collaboration.
